Mechanism of action of dinuclear platinum(II) complexes (IMAGE)
Caption
The dinuclear platinum(II) complexes inhibit prostate cancer cell growth by binding to the androgen receptor (AR) and disrupting AR-mediated gene expression. This mechanism leads to apoptosis and prevents dihydrotestosterone (DHT)-induced cell proliferation.
