Noah Oakland is exploring new treatments to manage lupus in the lab of Xin Luo, a professor of Biomedical Sciences and Pathobiology of the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. A student of the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine and the Virginia Tech Translational Biology, Medicine, and Health graduate program, Oakland received support through a highly competitive National Institutes of Health Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award F30 award.
