Examples of comparing spectral closeness of Rrs spectra between SeaWiFS and MODIS-Aqua, with measurements obtained on 2007 February 28. The 4 randomly selected locations are A1 (19.56° W, 35.42° N), A2 (149.97° E, 25.60° N), A3 (161.13° E, 21.70° N), and A4 (58.83° W 21.15° N). The color map (A) shows the distribution of SeaWiFS Rrs (443) on the same day. The black (red) numbers in (B) to (E) represent the MSD values between MODIS-Aqua Rrs and SeaWiFS (CSAC) Rrs .
