This doesn’t look like a typical blood pressure monitor—but that’s exactly what it is. This device was designed and engineered in Darren Roblyer’s Optical Technologies Lab at Boston University and uses light to track blood pressure, instead of the standard—and sometimes uncomfortable—cuff.
