A study led by researchers from Shinshu University propose a simplified risk-scoring model helps clinicians assess when patients with cardiogenic shock can be safely weaned off from MCS devices, such as VA-ECMO or IMPELLA, using easily measurable health indicators like blood pressure and heart function.
