Kara Perry, Ph.D., Education and Workforce Development Co-Lead for the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering Trusted and Assured Microelectronics program, UTEP President Heather Wilson and Meredith Dyck, Ph.D., chief strategist for microelectronics at the National Security Agency (NSA) sign a contract creating a collaboration between the Department of Defense, NSA and UTEP. The new collaboration will support research and training to strengthen the nation’s leadership in semiconductor, or microchips, technology.
