Overview of the conceptualization of DuMAND. It includes five categories in which Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) patients may experience problems: cognition and learning, social responsiveness, emotion regulation, externalizing behavior, and issues with eating and sleeping. This framework resulted from feedback from parents and experts and guided the creation of the DuMAND Checklist consisting of 43 items.
