(a)Schematic diagram of a mixed physical node RC system based on LES, which builds mixed physical node by two signals of current and light intensity.
(b)Schematic of the handwritten digit image and computing process flow. The handwritten digit image is transformed into a binary image. Next, the unused border areas were removed to reduce the original image size from 28 × 20 to 20× 20. The binary digit image is first converted into electric pulse streams (6v,90ms), and then fed to the artificial light-emitting synaptic devices-based reservoir. The recognition result is obtained after feeding the electric and optical states of reservoir to a trained readout function.
(c)Schematic diagram of multi-channel image processing for hybrid physical node reservoir system. The RC system can realize the recognition of multi-channel image by mapping time sequence pulse signal to current and mapping pulse amplitude signal to light intensity.
