Cost-effective Bithiophene-based Hole Transport Materials Achieve 24% Efficiency in Perovskite Solar Cells. (IMAGE)
Caption
The schematic highlights the structural advantages of three bithiophene-based hole transport materials (TP-H, TP-OMe, and TP-F) designed for perovskite solar cells (PSCs). The molecular structures incorporate large steric hindrance, non-covalent interactions, and passivation effects, contributing to synthetic simplicity and low cost. The performance comparison graph shows that the TP-F-based PSC achieves a power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 24.01%, outperforming TP-H and TP-OMe. The device configuration diagram illustrates the layer structure, including the hole transport material (HTM), contributing to the high efficiency.
