Dr. Adam Cawood, a Southwest Research Institute geoscientist shown conducting field studies, is working with professors from the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) to discover new domestic sources for lithium. Through a new collaboration between SwRI and UTD, the project will study lithium deposit formation through fieldwork, geological mapping and subsurface interpretation in support of conceptual model development.
