A schematic for generating C@ECN-PL and the mechanism of its antitumor activity

C@ECN-PL delivers CXB to tumor cells via liposomes anchored to the cell surface and promotes immune cell recruitment to the tumor. The self-lysis circuit ensures that C@ECN-PL does not accumulate within the tumor microenvironment. CXB and DOX suppress anti-apoptotic gene expression within tumor cells.
