Schemes of the combined model. Based on S and T, a three-layer model is used to retrieve SIT when T is greater than 270.3 K or S is less than 7.1 ‰, while a two-layer model is used to retrieve SIT when T is less than 270.3 K or S is greater than 7.1 ‰.
