Metabolic parameters similar in children born via frozen and fresh embryo transfer

In our prospective cohort study of over 4000 cases of in vitro fertilization (IVF) or Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI), the impact of frozen embryo transfer on glucose and lipid profiles during early childhood was found to be comparable to that of fresh embryo transfer. Our research provides valuable evidence on the safety of frozen embryo transfer when counseling couples undergoing assisted reproductive technology treatment.
