Through protein structures obtained using cryo-electron microscopy, Chia-Hsueh Lee, PhD, St. Jude Department of Structural Biology demonstrated the role of the ‘pseudoprotease’ iRhom2 in regulating the lifecycle of ADAM17, an important signaling molecule activator.
