Southwest Research Institute is studying the process of boiling liquids under partial gravity conditions during two parabolic flights. The project aims to better understand how liquids boil in partial gravity using a series of different surfaces. In this image, SwRI Research Engineer Emilio Gordon, Texas A&M University Professor of Aerospace Engineering Dr. Bonnie Dunbar and SwRI Research Engineer Dr. Eugene Hoffman check the aircraft payload just before its April 24th parabolic flight.
