Figure: Image presentation and pupil diameter change (IMAGE)
Caption
The horizontal axis represents the time elapsed following the presentation of the image, while the vertical axis denotes the degree of change in pupil diameter relative to the image presentation. A downward trend on the vertical axis signifies pupil constriction, indicating a reduction in pupil size over time. When observing an image rated as possessing low glossiness (top right: basket), the degree of pupil constriction was minimal. Conversely, when viewing an image rated as exhibiting a high degree of glossiness (lower right: diamond), the pupil diameter showed stronger constriction.
