The dust-like seeds of the “silver dragon plant” are eaten and dispersed by a great variety of invertebrates. This variety probably benefits the plant, as it allows the seeds to be carried to more diverse environments, increasing the likelihood of encountering the necessary fungi for its own sustenance.
