The strategy for the construction of the single-crystal-like mesoporous Li2TiSiO5 is illustrated. The stoichiometric Ti4+/Li+-citrate chelate (SCP) was prepared as the precursor for the micelles directed self-assembly. Subsequent step-crystallization process leads to the formation of single-crystal-like mesoporous Li2TiSiO5.
