Phosphorylation of plasma membrane H+-ATPase Thr881 participates in light-induced stomatal opening (IMAGE)
Caption
Red light induces the phosphorylation of Thr881 of PM H+-ATPase through photosynthesis in stomatal guard cells. Moreover, blue light induces the phosphorylation of both Thr881 and Thr948, which lead to the activation of the PM H+-ATPase and stomatal opening.
