Through a new four-year, $2.8 million NIH grant, Dr. O. H. Frazier, and team in the Innovative Device Engineering & Applications (IDEA) Lab at The Texas Heart Institute will collaborate with researchers at Rice University, the Georgia Institute of Technology and North Carolina State University to create and leverage innovative technologies to improve left ventricular assist devices (LVADs).
