Assistant Professor HOU Yi (right) and Dr LIU Shunchang (left) from the National University of Singapore (NUS) fabricated the new triple-junction perovskite/Si tandem solar cells using cutting-edge technologies and equipment at the Solar Energy Research Institute of Singapore in NUS. These tandem solar cells have an impressive certified world-record power conversion efficiency of 27.1 per cent across an active area of 1 sq cm.
