Behavioral experiments in mice using a deep learning-based system reveal nicotine exposure during pregnancy leads to symptoms of autism spectrum disorder as well as attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder. These findings, obtained using an unbiased classifier, clarify previous inconsistencies in the results of behavioral studies on mice prenatally exposed to nicotine.
