In the META-PM classification system, myopic maculopathy lesions are categorized into five categories from no myopic retinal lesions (category 0), tessellated fundus only (category 1, Figure 1A), diffuse chorioretinal atrophy (category 2, Figure 1B&C), patchy chorioretinal atrophy (category 3, Figure 1D arrows), to macular atrophy (category 4, Figure 1E&F).
