Neuroscience comic 1 (IMAGE) Harvard Medical School Caption Visual media can increase engagement and retention of difficult topics. Rajan has been working with visual artists and science communicators to create science comics that explain her research. These comics aim to make complicated subjects in computational neuroscience accessible to a broad audience by breaking them down into digestible pieces. They achieve this by conveying scientific findings through compelling visuals that avoid scientific jargon, thus lowering the barrier to entry in technical fields. The work is supported by the National Science Foundation and the Mindlin Foundation. Credit Jorge Cham.
