Struvite, shown here, is a slow-release fertilizer capable of reducing nitrogen and phosphorus leaching relative to monoammonium phosphate, the leading fall-applied fertilizer in the Midwest. In a new field study, the fertilizer also maintained or increased soybean yields relative to MAP.
