Brain study (IMAGE) Virginia Tech Caption An international team of researchers led by Virginia Tech scientist Read Montague with the Fralin Biomedical Research Institute at VTC has provided new insight into brain function by monitoring electrochemical brain activity in human subjects using standard clinical electrodes in epilepsy patients. The study, which included Mark Witcher, a Carilion Clinic neurosurgeon and associate professor with the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine (above), may have implications for a wide range of medical conditions.
