Preventing Chemobrain (IMAGE)

A leak of calcium through the ryanodine receptor (above) in the brain led to neurocognitive dysfunction in mice treated with a cancer chemotherapy. Mice are protected from "chemobrain" when the RY3&4 domain (pink) is positioned as above, which prevents the leak.
