With BARDA’s support, the Wyss Institute will bring its Organ Chip platform to bear on the problem of understanding radiation injury in people. In combination with the Institute’s drug discovery capabilities this could accelerate the pre-clinical advancement of life-saving medical countermeasures capable of protecting from large doses of radiation.
